Anna Floto

Anna Floto (2001, London) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Barcelona. In 2025 she completed a diploma at Metafora Studio Arts in Barcelona and presented her thesis at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art- MACBA, and holds a background in architecture from the University of Edinburgh. Anna further developed her practice through a two- month residency at Can Serrat in Catalunya during October and November 2024.

Her work manifests in the forms of drawing, painting, and activations with the general public. All outcomes are united by a deep interest in The Every-day, The Unknown, Connections and Interactions within natural and societal ecosystems of her surroundings. Her role is to act as a catalyst, carefully planning and providing the tools for the work to evolve and grow on its own. Most of the time, the work requires the interactivity of the general public or the environment to fully function. These foundations that Anna creates encourage new, natural interactions and connections to emerge between the audience.

In addition to her personal art practice, Anna co-runs 200CENT, an independent gallery and creative space that provides a platform for emerging and established artists to showcase their work and artist investigations. Through organising and curating events in the space for local and international emerging artists, Anna aims to amplify connection and community.
